Wonderful Wednesday

Well, well, well I made it! Heath is here, mom is doing wonderful and I am heading home today. I still can't believe looking at Danielle having our 3rd grandson that I just 25 years ago gave birth to her. What a beautiful blessing to see your child having a child.

I have a 5 hour drive home today and will spend it listening to my Ipod and dreaming about sleeping in my own bed...I am sure Chip will greet me with hugs and kisses and a wonderful dinner. Chip is my Forest without the trees!

Ok, well the day ended with a big bang...9 pounds 4 ounces. Still doesn't beat my record of 9 pounds 10 ounces which is what Derek weighed at birth.
All in all it went great...very long day...she usually pushes those babies out in a matter of hours...Heath was soooo big he took extra time.
Again thanks to all my fellow fookers for hanging out with me today online...you all kept me sane! Here are a couple of pics from Facebook.
